MPM: Ep. 253 – Xavier’s School Of Vampires & Monsters

Cellar Dweller | Twilight – Hey everyone! We’ve reached week three of our December requests month and yes, unfortunately we are still alive to deal with more of our listener picks. Ex-MPM Host Mark “The Shark” Hinton threw us a bit of a bone, by having us review a 1980’s horror cult classic, Cellar Dweller and Ben from the Culturally Ill Podcast originally suggested we review the first three Twilight movies, but we boycotted that and settled for doing the first one. In this episode, we talk about the Holiday powers we wish we had, I get insanely pissed at Twilight for using the term “vampires”, and we all wish Jefferey Combs was in a little more of everything. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 251 – Thank You For The Mammaries

Malibu Express | Child’s Play – Hello everyone and welcome to another great Request Month from Motion Picture Meltdown! Every December we take requests from our listeners, and then put ourselves through the worst cinematic pain possible, and roast the movies YOU pick. We kick things off this week by roasting through Eli’s pick, Malibu Express as well as Dustin’s pick, Child’s Play. Joke’s on you guys, we didn’t hate these movies nearly as much as you thought we would! You’ll hear us start to gear up for the Holidays by talking about Christmas movies we’re sick of, Phil seems like he’s awfully tired of boobs, and we talk about how easy it is to football punt a doll. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep 203 – Tornado 3:16

Twister | Gymkata – Hello everyone! Welcome again to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We continue this great holiday season by giving our listeners the gifts of roasting through movies of their choice. This week we go through a couple of pretty terrible requests, one being from my wife Brandi. She requested that we roast through the 1996 blockbuster hit Twister. Our second request is from our listener and a guest host on Naked in a Pit Jordan! He requested Gymkata. In this episode, you will hear us discuss the ultimate holiday death game, the fact that Twister is just Jaws with tornadoes, and my constant dislike for Bill Paxton. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 202 – Classic Bikey

The Dirt Bike Kid | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) – Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week we continue our Holiday month of gift episodes by roasting through some requests by our faithful listener Clay Nevels, as well as Nerds on Film co-host and multiple MPM guest-host, Sean Moriarty! Clay asked us to go back into the 80’s and roast through another movie where Peter Billingsly was the lead (who knew?) called The Dirt Bike Kid. Sean decided to crush all of our dreams and childhoods as he requested that we promptly fist ourselves by watching the 2014 reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In this episode, we decide which Christmas presents we wish would become sentient, all four of us rage about the new turtles movie (as well as curse Sean’s name), and try to think of what exactly Michael Bay has on Megan Fox. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 201 – God’s Garbage Men

The Lady in White | City of Angels – Hello everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We have reached December again, and what does that mean? It means an entire month of giving Christmas gifts by roasting through movies that our listeners choose for us! This week we start out with a two-fer from one of our most loyal listeners, Wayne! He suggested that we review The Lady in White as well as the Nic Cage “feel-good” movie from the 90’s, City of Angels. In this episode, we give Santa’s Reindeer super powers and pit them against one another, we provide a much better and detailed ending of City of Angels, and argue about whether Lady in White can be considered a kid’s movie. Enjoy!
