We continue on with Not-So Superhero September by roasting through a couple of movies that were well-known for getting people excited before they came out, and then totally taking a dump on their expectations. This week, Phil, Cheats, Dehart and myself roast through the 1998 “British” The Avengers as well the movie that many people say was the reasoning behind Sean Connery’s retirement, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. In this episode, you will hear us all pick a super-hero team made from fictional people, you’ll hear Phil compare Sean Connery to Nic Cage, and all of us will struggle with Ralph Fiennes’ name. MPM: Ep. 138 – All Aboard The Super-Hero Short Bus

Hello everyone! Welcome to the newest episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We continue our (Not-So) Superhero September by roasting through a couple recent movies that fall under the dark comedy category as well as the “comic book” genre. This week, Dehart, Phil, and myself go through James Gunn’s Super as well as the highly underrated Defendor. In this episode you will hear our debates of pipe wrench vs. trench club, we talk about what a fair level of punishment is for doing/selling drugs or cutting in line, as well as discuss how effective a jar of hornets would be when thrown on you.
